GAZIANTEP - Export from Southeastern Anatolia Project (GAP) region increased 29 percent to 55 million 189 thousand U.S. dollars in January 2003 when compared to the same month of 2002.
Southeastern Anatolia Exporters Associations said on Thursday that they exported 40 million 663 thousand U.S. dollars in textile products, 6 million 431 thousand U.S. dollars in dried fruit, 4 million 861 thousand U.S. dollars in cereals, 1 million 98 thousand U.S. dollars in animal products and 2 million 136 thousand U.S. dollars in other products in January 2003.
