ANKARA - Prime Minister Abdullah Gul talked to U.S. Vice President Dick Cheney on the phone on Tuesday.
A statement of the Prime Ministry Press Center said that Gul and Cheney reviewed recent developments regarding Iraq, shared views and concerns and discussed military and economic dimensions of the issue.
The statement noted that the phone conversation took place upon demand of the U.S. side.
Gul once more expressed Turkey's views concerning Cyprus issue during the phone conversation, the statement pointed out.
The statement added that Gul offered condolences to the United States for those who died in space shuttle disaster.
