Medal Of Merit Given To French Historian

PARIS - Turkey gave on Tuesday a medal of merit to French historian Jean-Paul Roux.
Turkish Ambassador to France Uluc Ozulker said in the ceremony held at Turkish Embassy Residence that the French historian was given the medal due to his objective and comprehensive studies about Turks.
His book ''Histoire des Turcs-History of Turks'' is one of the most comprehensive books that was published in foreign language which explains the history of Turks.
