ANKARA - The law envisaging amendments to some laws which was known as the second European Union (EU) adjustment package in the public opinion, came into force on Tuesday after being published in the Official Gazette.
The law adds an article to the Code of Civil Procedure (HMUK), enabling application to the Supreme Court of Appeals with a request for re-trial process within one year after the decision of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR). The law also foresees some amendments to the Law of Criminal Procedure (CMUK) in parallel to this.
The law re-arranged procedures and rules about activities of Turkish associations and of foreign associations in Turkey.
