PULUMUR - Tunceli Governor Mustafa Erkal said on Thursday that damage assessment works were completed in Pulumur township of eastern Tunceli province where the earthquake measuring 6.5 on the Richter Scale happened.
Holding a press conference, Erkal said that 15 commissions including civil engineers and technicians completed damage assessment works in township center, 28 of 38 villages and hamlets and noted that 12 private and six public buildings were damaged seriously by quake; 46 private and 83 public buildings were damaged moderately and 75 private and 48 public buildings were damaged slightly by quake.
Erkal said that Turkish Aeronautical Association (THK) sent 1.5 tons of roasted meat and the Directorate General of aid organization Kizilay (Red Crescent) sent 10 tons of flour to the region and added that Prime Ministry Social Solidarity and Urgent Support fund extended financial support of 190 billion Turkish lira (TL) to the township.
