Funeral Held In Foreign Ministry For Ambassador Akinci

ANKARA - A funeral was held in the Foreign Ministry on Thursday for ambassador Ugurtan Akinci, who served the ministry for long years and died two days ago.
Foreign Minister Yasar Yakis offered condolences to family, friends and officials of the Foreign Ministry.
Akinci will be laid to rest in Istanbul on Friday.
Ugurtan Akinci, who was born in 1938, served in Turkish Embassies in Rabat, Bucharest and Copenhagen and Consulate in Frankfurt.
Akinci served as an ambassador in Abu Dhabi, Ottawa and Madrid.
