KABUL - Afghanistan decorated International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) Commander Hilmi Akin Zorlu with ''Ghazi Emanullah Khan'' medal on Thursday.
Afghanistan Vice President and Defense Minister Mohammad Fahim Khan said in the ceremony that they decorated Zorlu with the medal due to his contribution to reconstruction of Afghanistan and Afghan national army and his help to Afghan people.
Afghan Chief of General Staff Asif Dilaver, Kabul Garrison Commander Bismillah Khan and many high-ranking military officials attended the ceremony.
The deputy commander of ISAF Mehmet Emin Alpman, ISAF General Staff Officer Kemal Emren and other Turkish military officials such as Mehmet Daysal, Kazim Ondul, Levent Colak and Necdet Yatgin were also decorated with some medals in the ceremony.
