Erdogan: Elections Were Held In Turkey. There Is No Return Back

DAVOS - Justice and Development Party (AK Party) leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Friday that elections had already been held in Turkey and there was no return back.
Erdogan held a press conference following his contacts in Davos.
Responding to questions of reporters on how he evaluated discussions that there were doubts about November 3 elections, Erdogan said, ''I regard these as very funny. Elections were held in Turkey and it is over. There is no return back. The decision of the Higher Election Board (YSK) cannot be discussed. There cannot be any backward step from the decision of the Constitutional Court. These are very clear decisions. There are such objections made by those who don't know about these issues. YSK will give the necessary response after making the necessary evaluation.''
Erdogan added, ''there cannot be anything like the renewal of the elections. We are living in a state of law. Everything is open and obvious. It is clear and open that there cannot be any backward step from decisions of the Constitutional Court. It is clear whether or not the decisions of the YSK are discussed or not.''
Asked if he would run his candidacy in the by-elections to be held in southeastern Siirt province and when he would announce his decision, Erdogan said, ''everything will become clear at the end of January.''
