ADANA - Husnu Ondul, the leader of the Human Rights Association (IHD) said on Friday that the association does not want to watch the developments in the Middle East where plans of war are being prepared.
Opponents of war including Ondul who came to southern Adana province by ''peace train'' met with Adana's Platform Against War. Releasing a statement at the entrance of Incirlik town, Ondul claimed that the U.S. and its allies violated international law and they made plans of waging a war against Iraq.
Noting that they are against war, Ondul said that they don't approve Incirlik base to be used as a military base.
The opponents of war shouted slogans against war and they later left for Mersin where they would hold a demonstration against war on Saturday.
