Prime Minister Gul To Go To Davos On Friday And To Strasbourg On Sunday

ANKARA - Prime Minister Abdullah Gul will go to Davos, Switzerland on Friday and to Strasbourg, France on Sunday.
After spending the night in Istanbul, Prime Minister Gul will leave for Davos on Friday morning to attend the World Economic Forum.
During his contacts in Davos, Gul will attend a session on Iraqi issue and hold a series of bilateral meetings.
Gul will meet with Swiss Confederation Chairman and Federal Department of Home Affairs Chief Pascal Couchepin, Mongolian Prime Minister Nambaryn Enkhbayar, Mexico's President Vicente Quesada Fox and Ukrainian Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych.
Prime Minister Gul will also attend a panel discussion entitled, ''Improvement Transatlantic Relations'' and Turkish Night in Davos.
After wrapping up his contacts in Davos, Gul will proceed to Strasbourg.
Gul will meet with Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe President Peter Schieder, Secretary General Bruno Haller, Council of Europe Secretary General Walter Schwimmer, European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) Chairman Luzuis Wildhaber and Turkish Judge of ECHR Riza Turmen.
Gul who will deliver a speech at Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe on January 27, will return to Turkey the same day.
