Jordanian Foreign Minister Muasher Arrives In Istanbul

ISTANBUL - Jordanian Foreign Minister Marwan Muasher arrived on Thursday in Istanbul to attend ''Regional Initiative for Iraqi Issue-Foreign Ministers Meeting''.
Muasher was welcomed by Istanbul Deputy Governor Saim Eskioglu and Foreign Ministry officials in Ataturk Airport.
Releasing a statement, Muasher said that the result of the meeting will be a step to prevent the war.
Noting that war is still a great risk, Muasher said that the message of the countries of region to the United States and Iraq will be important. He added that they are expecting Iraq to act in line with resolution of the United Nations and U.N. should also be convinced by this attitude of Iraq.
Muasher then proceeded to Ciragan Palace where the meeting will be held.
