Italian leftist parties have assumed a good will attitude against the KADEK so far. Blood was shed for the first time after a long period in the terrorist attack on January 15. I warned Italian leftist parties to be careful against the KADEK.''
''During our meeting, Mr. Fassino told me that Turkey was maybe the only issue on which the ruling and opposition parties have reached compromise. Both ruling and opposition parties want to set up special relations with Turkey,'' he said.
Noting that he had informed Fassino on political situation in Turkey and Turkey's attitude about the Iraq crisis, Baykal told reporters that Italian leftist parties had been supporting Turkey's European Union (EU) full membership process.
