CHICAGO - Vestel, which joined world electronics fair in Las Vegas, the United States, received an order from a famous Japanese company to produce plasma televisions worth of 75 million U.S. dollars.
Vestel Executive Board member Turan Erdogan said on Sunday that they made the pre-agreement on the plasma television order.
Vestel will produce plasma televisions with 80 and 195 centimeter screens to a Japanese company, the name of which will be announced in coming days.
Erdogan pointed out that Vestel had a competitive place in plasma television sector with its prices and quality and announced that they received many orders from Colombia, Panama and Venezuela.
