Human Rights Commission Visits Prisons In Eastern Provinces

TUNCELI-MUS-BINGOL - BINGOL (A.A) - 19.01.2003 - Parliamentary Human Rights Inspection Commission visited prisons in eastern provinces of Mus, Bingol and Tunceli on Saturday.
Following a meeting in Tunceli, commission member Gokhan Saricam told reporters that there were a number of changes in Tunceli prior and after the emergency rule and noted that they would prepare a report following their contacts.
Three members of the commission met with inmates in Bingol prison while four members visited Hurriyet Police Station in Mus.
