ANKARA - Justice and Development Party (AK Party) leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Saturday that, ''I believe that Turkey will be one of the countries which Chinese people get interested in tourism.''
Erdogan and an accompanying delegation returned to Turkey after completing a four-day visit to China.
Speaking at Ankara's Esenboga Airport, Erdogan said they felt pleasure over the visit to China, stressing that they saw to what dimensions China's development mobilizations reached.
Erdogan said, ''we discussed with the Chinese friends the Kars-Tbilisi railway line, and the steps that would be taken in energy. I also believe that Turkey will be a country where Chinese people get interested and visit.''
Stating that there were some important meetings regarded with political openings during his visit to China, Erdogan said they invited Chinese Communist Party administrators to Turkey.
Erdogan said, ''we want to improve relations in political area by inviting Chinese Communist Party officials. The officials stated that they would visit Turkey in April-May. I believe that the visits would be in favour of both countries.''
