ISTANBUL - International Monetary Fund (IMF) First Deputy Managing Director Anne Krueger arrived in Turkey on Wednesday.
Krueger will meet with officials of Turkish Industrialists and Businessmen Association (TUSIAD) and Union of Turkish Banks in Istanbul.
Krueger, who will proceed to Ankara on Thursday, is expected to meet with Prime Minister Abdullah Gul, State Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullatif Sener, State Minister Ali Babacan, Finance Minister Kemal Unakitan, Treasury Undersecretary Faik Oztrak, Central Bank Governor Sureyya Serdengecti and Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA) Chairman Engin Akcakoca.
Krueger will exchange views about implementation of economic program, and will depart from Turkey the same day after wrapping up contacts.
