Babacan: We Are Working On Debentures Which Can Be Turned Into Shares In Privatization

ANKARA - State Minister Ali Babacan said on Sunday that they were working on debentures which could be turned into shares in privatization and added that they were holding consultations on the issue, but it did not become definite yet.
Replying questions of A.A correspondent, Babacan said, ''in fact Turkey has great assets. However negative expectations and uncertainties prevent these assets from being used well. We believe that the conditions in Turkey will improve within few years,'' he said.
Babacan added that the government attributes great importance to privatization.
