ISTANBUL - A group of persons who are members of the People's Democracy Party (HADEP) protested on Sunday a possible operation of the U.S. against Iraq and the F type prisons.
The HADEP group opened a banner written ''No to War'' on it while shouting slogans in Kurdish.
Releasing a public statement, the group said that the situation in the Middle East got worse. The group was later warned by security forces to disperse. Some persons within the group hurled Molotov Cocktails in the streets and later they dispersed.
Meanwhile another group of persons who convened in front of AK Party office in Istanbul had a sit-in protest for ten minutes to protest the F type prisons. The group later dispersed.
