ANKARA - General Staff said on Thursday that four pilots died in plane crash in eastern Malatya Province.
General Staff General Secretariat said two RF-4 reconnaissance planes, belonging to 7th Main Jet Base Command (Malatya), crashed around Erhac Leventkoy during a training flight due to an unknown reason.
The statement said pilot captain F.Fazil Taskin, pilot captain A. Riza Sadak, first lieutenant pilot M. Fatih Ongun and first lieutenant pilot Semih Destecioglu died at the accident.
The statement said searches and investigation are underway into the accident.
