AMMAN - Prime Minister Abdullah Gul will depart on January 11 for Saudi Arabia, a part of his Middle East tour that he started to contribute solution of Iraq problem in peaceful ways.
Gul who held contacts in Jordan after Syria and Egypt will give a four days break to his Middle East tour that was defined as ''active peace diplomacy'', and he will depart from Ankara for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on January 11. He will be welcomed by Crown Prince Abdullah in Riyadh.
Gul will attend a luncheon after meeting with Abdullah and then he will be received by King Fahd.
Saudi officials stated that if Gul's Iran visit is determined as January 12, they can host Gul in Saudi Arabia and he can proceed from Riyadh to Iran.
