ANKARA - Prime Minister Abdullah Gul will pay visits to Syria, Egypt and Jordan between January 4 and 6, 2003.
Releasing a statement, the Prime Ministry Press Center said on Friday that Prime Minister Gul would leave for Syrian capital Damascus on January 4.
Prime Minister Gul will be received by President Bashar Al-Asad of Syria the same day, and hold a press conference at the Turkish Embassy in Damascus.
He will partake in a luncheon to be hosted in his honor by Prime Minister Mustafa Miru, and return to Turkey later in the day.
Prime Minister Gul will leave for Egypt on January 5.
Following his meeting with Prime Minister Atef Mohamed Ebeid of Egypt, Prime Minister Gul will be received by President Hosni Mubarak.
He will partake in the luncheon to be hosted by President Mubarak.
Prime Minister Gul is scheduled to meet with Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa in Cairo.
On January 6, Prime Minister Gul will proceed from Cairo to Jordanian capital Amman.
Prime Minister Gul will hold contacts with King Abdullah II of Jordan, and Prime Minister Ali Abu Ragheb.
He will return to Turkey after holding a press conference at the Turkish Embassy in Amman.
