More Than 17 Thousand Foreigners Land At Cappadocia Airport

NEVSEHIR - A total of 17 thousand 348 tourists from 35 countries entered Turkey from Cappadocia Airport in 2002.
Gulsehir Head Official Inci Becel told reporters on Sunday that Nevsehir Cappadocia Airport had been available for international civil air transportation since 1998.
Becel said that there were direct flights from Spain, Germany and Austria to Cappadocia Airport.
A total of 153 international flights were made to this airport this year, Becel noted.
Becel added that 10 thousand 442 of the foreigners came from Spain.
A total of 130 international flights were made to Nevsehir Cappadocia Airport and 14 thousand 468 tourists came to the region in 2001.
