U.S. Under Secretary Of Treasury Taylor Due In Ankara

ANKARA - U.S. Under Secretary of Treasury John Taylor and U.S. State Department Under Secretary Marc Grossman will come to Turkey later on Thursday upon invitation of Turkey.
Sources told the A.A correspondent on Thursday that the visit was not planned before, and noted that Taylor and Grossman were expected to arrive in Ankara later in the day.
The same sources noted that State Minister Ali Babacan had met with Taylor during his visit to the United States earlier in the month, and pointed out that economic cost of a possible military operation against Iraq and other political issues would be taken up during contacts of Taylor and Grossman in Turkey.
