ANKARA - Foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank increased by 643 million U.S. dollars between December 4-13, 2002.
According to the Central Bank's weekly bulletin, the Central Bank's foreign exchange reserves which were 26 billion 101 million U.S. dollars on December 4, increased to 26 billion 744 million U.S. dollars on December 13.
Meanwhile, total foreign exchange reserves of banks and private finance organizations decreased 636 million U.S. dollars from 11 billion 629 million U.S. dollars on November 22 to 10 billion 993 million U.S. dollars on November 29.
Meanwhile, the international reserves of Turkey comprising gold reserves and foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank, commercial banks and private finance organizations decreased 721 million U.S. dollars from 38 billion 762 million U.S. dollars to 38 million 41 million U.S. dollars as of November 29.
