ANKARA - Prime Minister Abdullah Gul has said, ''Turkey really suffered great losses in last three-four years.''
Gul received on Thursday Associaton of Independent Industrialists and Businessmen (MUSIAD) Chairman Ali Bayramoglu.
Speaking at the meeting, Gul said that if foreign policy issues were left aside, Turkey's prior issue was economic and commercial life.
''Now, it is time to recover the economy. While recovering Turkey, we will do it together with the business world,'' the Prime Minister said.
Stressing that as the government, they would fulfill their responsibilities, Gul said, ''we will make public reform and adopt laws but while we are doing these, we will also pave the way for the business world. Because, the state won't find job to millions of unemployed people by opening factories. We will form such an environment that invisting will become attractive and trade will revive and people will be employed. We will do these together with the opposition and non-governmental organizations.''
