Hablemitoglu Killed In Armed Attack

ANKARA - Ankara University Language, History and Geography Faculty Lecturer Associate Prof. Necip Hablemitoglu was killed on Wednesday in an armed attack in front of his house.
Unidentified assailants opened gunfire on Hablemitoglu in front of his house in Cankaya district. Hablemitoglu died on the spot.
Experts said according to the first examinations, that two bullets hit the head of Hablemitoglu.
Security officials said that efforts are underway to find eye witnesses.
Meanwhile, Interior Minister Abdulkadir Aksu left the coordination meeting of Justice and Development Party (AK Party) which is still continuing and proceeded to Interior Ministry after learning the incident.
Aksu arrived in his office to follow the developments about the event.
