Bad Weather Conditions Paralyzes Traffic And Daily Life Throughout Turkey

TRABZON - Bad weather conditions have been paralyzing daily life and traffic throughout Turkey, especially in northern and eastern parts.
Sources told A.A correspondent on Friday that 1,557 village roads were closed to the traffic due to heavy snowfall.
Primary and secondary schools have been recessed for a day in Guce and Kesap towns of northern province of Giresun.
Governor Bulent Karacol of neighboring province of Rize said that nearly 30 villages could not be given electricity due to snowfall.
Schools have been recessed for a day in Caykara, Of, Dernekpazari, Yomra and Arakli towns of northern province of Trabzon, and in Camlihemsin, Derepazari, Iyidere, Kalkandere, Ardesen and Ikizdere towns of northern province of Rize.
Snow reached one meters in some parts of Rize.
In eastern part of Turkey, a total of 346 village roads in Erzurum, Agri, Erzincan, Kars, Igdir and Ardahan provinces have been closed to the traffic.
