Gul Due To Copenhagen On Wednesday

ANKARA - Prime Minister Abdullah Gul will go to Copenhagen on Wednesday to participate in European Union (EU) summit.
Within the framework of contacts aiming to get a date for Turkey to start full membership negotiations, Gul is expected to meet British Prime Minister Tony Blair, Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, Greek Prime Minister Costas Simitis, and European Parliament President Pat Cox.
Gul will also hold bilateral contacts with the leaders of the EU member countries yet those meetings have not become definite yet.
Gul is expected to return to Ankara on December 14.
