Higher Election Board's Decision To Cancel Elections In Siirt Published In Official Gazette

ANKARA - The decision of the Higher Election Board which cancelled the elections in southeastern Siirt province was published in the Official Gazette on Sunday.
The membership of three deputies who were elected from Siirt on Nov. 3 namely Ekrem Bilek (CHP), Mervan Gul (AK Party) and Mehmet Fadýl Akgunduz (independent) has been cancelled.
The Board decided to hold the elections on February 9, 2003, Sunday which is the 60th day following the publication of the decision in the Official Gazette.
