Treasury To Sell 161-day And 357-day Bonds

ANKARA - Treasury will auction 161-day and 367-day bonds next week.
The Treasury will sell 169-day bonds on December 10. The bonds will be issued on December 11, 2002 and repaid on May 21, 2003.
Treasury will auction 357-day bonds again on December 10. The bonds will be issued on December 11, 2002 and be repaid on December 3, 2003.
In its last auction to sell 169-day bonds on December 2, the total bid had been 1 quadrillion 753.7 trillion Turkish liras (TL). Treasury sold 1 quadrillion 438.4 trillion TL nominal-valued bonds in that auction while the net sale became 1 quadrillion 195.3 trillion TL.
The composite interest rate had become 49 percent while the simple interest had been 43.81 percent.
Treasury will repay 7 quadrillion 217.5 trillion TL in domestic debt next week.
The total domestic debt repayment of the Treasury in December is 10 quadrillion 251.4 trillion TL.
