NEW YORK - The views of TRNC President Rauf Denktas about the Cyprus plan of U.N. Secretary Genarl Kofi Annan was submitted to U.N. officials on Thursday.
TRNC's representative to New York Resat Caglar gave the document to U.N. officials.
Greek Cypriot leader Glafcos Clerides submitted his document to U.N. special envoy Alvaro De Soto in the same hours.
Diplomatic sources said that the document of Denktas is around ten pages. After examining the documents submitted by both sides, Annan and his team will submit each sides' documents to the other side.
Meanwhile it was reported that Denktas would have a check-up for the last time on Friday and if there is no problem he would leave New York for TRNC.
