ANKARA - Prime Minister Abdullah Gul said on Wednesday that Turkey launches efforts for having a positive decision from Copenhagen summit which is very important in respect of Turkey's EU membership.
Issuing a message upon the Ramadan holiday, Gul said that ''recently the 58th government was founded and it got vote of confidence. A security atmosphere was set up both in the country and abroad for production and investment. The emergency rule in southeastern region has totally ended. In sum, there is a promising period for Turkey in all aspects and we, as the Turkish people have to continue working hard following the Ramadan Holiday.''
