WASHINGTON D.C. - Justice and Development Party (AK Party) leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan is expected to pay a visit to the United States that will last a little more than a day.
Sources said on Wednesday that Erdogan was expected to arrive in Washington D.C. on December 9.
Erdogan will make a speech in Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) while his meeting in the White House is foreseen to take place on December 10.
After meeting with U.S. President George W. Bush, Erdogan is expected to make a press statement and then leave for Copenhagen a day before the critical European Union (EU) summit on December 12.
