Patriach Mesrob Ii To Call For Support From Pope John Paul Ii

VATICAN - Armenian Patriarch Mesrob II in Turkey, currently holding contacts in European capitals to get support for Turkey's getting a date to start European Union (EU) full membership negotiations, will call for support from Pope John Paul II in this respect.
Mesrob II is expected to meet with Pople John Paul II on December 7.
Mesrob II will also meet with Vatican Prime Minister Angelo Sodano and Foreign Minister Jean Lui Turan.
Mesrob II who will stay for five days in Rome, is expected to meet with Italian ministers and high ranking diplomats.
