Unakitan: There Is No Problematic Issue With I.M.F.

ANKARA - Finance Minister Kemal Unakitan said while evaluating the contacts with IMF delegation that ''there is no problematic issue or an issue that makes the sides uneasy.''
Unakitan met with IMF's Director of European I Department Michael Deppler the same day. IMF Turkey Desk Chief Juha Kahkonen and IMF Turkey Representative Odd Per Brekk also attended the meeting.
Responding to questions of journalists who reminded Unakitan about the objection of IMF to tax amnesty and the views of IMF about ending the financial zero year, Unakitan said that there is no issue between IMF and Turkey on which the sides can't reach consensus.
Deppler said in his part that he would issue a statement on Tuesday.
THERE IS NO PROBLEM ABOUT BRSA
International Monetary Fund (IMF) said on Monday that there was no problem with the government regarded with Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA).
IMF sources told A.A correspondent that there was no problem about BRSA during the ongoing talks with the IMF delegation which is currently in Ankara.
European I Department Michael Deppler met with BRSA President Engin Akcakoca for nearly 1,5 hours today. IMF Turkey Desk Chief Juha Kahkonen, and Turkey Representative Odd Per Brekk also participated in the meeting.
IMF delegation is expected to meet with Treasury Undersecretary Faik Oztrak today.
