ANKARA - Program of 58th government, founded under the leadership of Prime Minister Abdullah Gul, will be put to vote of confidence in Parliamentary General Assembly on Thursday.
The meeting will start at 15.00 local time. There will be an open voting.
Vote of absolute majority of parliamentarians will be adequate.
Republican People's Party (CHP) said it would not give vote of confidence to the program of AK Party government.
Under the constitution, vote of confidence takes place one day after the completion of talks on the program.
Government program had been read out by Prime Minister Abdullah Gul on November 23 in Parliamentary General Assembly, and the talks took place on Tuesday.
Also, election will take place for the Parliamentary Chairmanship Council in case AK Party and CHP groups determine their candidates.
The Council will be comprised of 15 members.
