Turkey Condemns Suicide Attack In Jerusalem

ANKARA - Turkey condemned Thursday morning's suicide attack in Jerusalem in which 11 people lost their lives.
Releasing a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that Turkey harshly condemned the attack.
''It is clear that there are circles rejecting the vision of a solution in which Israeli and Palestinian peoples will live side by side in secure and recognized borders, behind this hateful attack,'' it said.
The statement added, ''we call on the sides to act with common sense and to protect their hopes for peace. Terrorism and acts of violence are not the methods to settle peace in the region. On the contrary, terrorism and acts of violence prevent efforts to settle peace.''
A Palestinian man wearing a bomb belt blew himself up on a Jerusalem city bus packed with high school students and soldiers, killing 11 passengers and wounding dozens.
