ANKARA - The total foreign exchange deposit accounts at banks increased 717 million U.S. dollars to 60 billion 610 million U.S. dollars as of November 8, 2002.
According to Central Bank's temporary statistics, total foreign exchange deposit accounts at banks had been 59 billion 893 million U.S. dollars on November 1.
The foreign exchange deposits increased 521 million U.S. dollars to 47 billion 90 million U.S. dollars in the same period.
The total internal foreign exchange deposits increased 475 million U.S. dollars to 45 billion 448 million U.S. dollars and external foreign exchange deposits increased 46 million U.S. dollars to 1 billion 642 million U.S. dollars in the same period.
Meanwhile, total foreign exchange deposits at the interbank market increased 35 million U.S. dollars to 762 million U.S. dollars.
The foreign exchange deposits with letter of credit and super foreign exchange accounts increased 74 million U.S. dollars to 13 billion 594 million U.S. dollars between November 8 and 15, 2002.
