Bulent Arinc Becomes Parliament Speaker In The First Round

ANKARA - Justice and Development Party (AK Party) Manisa Parliamentarian was elected as the new speaker of Parliament on Tuesday.
Arinc and Republican People's Party (CHP) Ankara Parliamentarian Onder Sav were the candidates for Parliament Speakership.
Prior to the voting, a classification delegation was formed for counting.
Arinc got 369 votes and became the Parliament Speaker in the first round. Onder Sav got 173 votes. Three of the votes were vacant, and another one was invalid.
