ANKARA - A delegation headed by Foreign Minister Under Secretary Ugur Ziyal gave a briefing to Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Deniz Baykal on Monday.
CHP deputy leader Inal Batu and Kemal Dervis, a CHP deputy from Istanbul, also attended the briefing at the CHP Headquarters.
Replying questions of reporters following the meeting that lasted nearly two hours, Ugur Ziyal said he would not make a statement.
Meanwhile, sources said that CHP administration had been briefed on Cyprus and Iraq issues and relations with the EU prior to Baykal's visit to Warsaw on November 14-15 to attend council meeting of the Party of European Socialists.
