We are missing Ataturk, the Founder of Modern Turkish Republic, on the 64th anniversary of his death.

HE ENTERS TURKEY FREELY AND EASILY
Fadil Akgunduz, who has gained political immunity by being elected as an independent deputy from eastern Siirt province when he was wanted by red bulletin on charges of embezzlement, came to Istanbul on Saturday.

MIRACLE IN ANTALYA
A Russian Antanov 26 type plane crashed into ground near Antalya Airport. The plane which was hit by heavy wind 300 metres above the running track crashed into ground and divided into two. 19 passengers and 9 crew members were rescued.

Today is November 10. 64 years have passed since Ataturk, the Founder of Modern Turkish Republic, died. He is not with us today but his views are illuminating the future.

HERE IS FORMULA
Here is Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Deniz Baykal's formula for ''prime ministry'': Firstly, we can change the article 76. Then, we can hold a by-election and Justice and Development Party (AK Party) leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan can be elected. Thus, he can become the prime minister. Baykal thinks that Constitution should be amended and Erdogan's prime ministry should be made available. Baykal also wants lifting of political immunities and holding elections every four years with this constitutional amendment.

POINTER SHOWS GUL IN AK PARTY
Justice and Development Party (AK Party) leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who got full authority from the Central Decision and Executive Board (MKYK) to designate the prime minister candidate met with the members of the board and took their pulse. Majority of the members said that they wanted to see Abdullah Gul as the prime minister candidate.

VISIT TO ROME INSTEAD OF TRNC
Justice and Development Party (AK Party) leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan cancelled his visit to Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) since TRNC President Rauf Denktas cannot return from New York due to his medical treatment. Erdogan, to this end, will go to Rome on November 13 and to Athens on November 18. Erdogan will send a representative to celebrations of anniversary of foundation of TRNC.

PRESIDENT SEZER: ''WE WILL PROTECT ATATURK AND REPUBLIC''
President Ahmet Necdet Sezer said that everybody undertook an important duty on the anniversary of demise of Ataturk, the Founder of Modern Turkish Republic and this duty was ''to understand the biggest work of Ataturk, the Republic, protect the values of the Republic in every condition, adopt Kemalist thought and carry Turkey to brilliant future.''

FIRST SIGNAL FROM AK PARTY: ''WE WILL SUPPORT OPERATION ON IRAQ''
Justice and Development Party (AK Party) deputy leader Abdullah Gul told German Der Spiegel magazine that they could support an operation on Iraq if this decision was approved by the United Nations (U.N). Gul said, ''mass destructive weapons of Iraq are directly threatening Turkey. To this end, we may support an operation on Iraq.''

Today is the 64th anniversary of the death of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the Founder of modern Turkish republic.
President Ahmet Necdet Sezer said it is the duty of everybody to understand Republic, protect it, and carry Turkey to brilliant futures by adopting Kemalist thought.
Parliament Speaker Omer Izgi said, ''if today those who have different views have the right to come to ruling, this is because revolutions of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and the principle of secularism which those revolutions based on. He said democracy would stop at the moment secularism is ignored.
Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit said, ''I am once again commemorating Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the Great Founder of Republic, with respect, and appreciation.

FLIGHT BAN ON ANITKABIR
Ataturk will be commemorated throughout the country with ceremonies. Everbody will observe a minute of silence at 9.05 local time. Tight security measures will take place in Ankara. There will be flight ban on Anitkabir between 08.00-11.00 local time.

DON'T TOUCH FADIL
Fadil Akgunduz, who put on the suit of armor by being elected independent parliamentarian from southeastern Siir province, came to Turkey.
Akgunduz, who is also called as ''Jet Fadil'' made his lawyer get his official report. Akgunduz said, ''I did not return for political immunity, I came for my investments. I will participate in the hearings against me.''

PARLIAMENT TO CONVENE ON THURSDAY
Higher Election Board (YSK) announced the definite results of elections. Parliamentary General Assembly will hold its first meeting on November 14, Thursday.
Parliament will convene under the leadership of Sukru Elekdag, the eldest member.

DIFFICULT CHOICE OF ERDOGAN
Justice and Development Party (AK Party) leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a busy day on Saturday. His party gave him full authorization regarded with election of Prime Minister. Erdogan met with the members of his party's executive board and asked who they wanted to see as prime minister. Erdogan later met the provincial chairmen and determined the name of the person whom he would present to President Ahmet Necdet Sezer.

AK PARTY GIVES FULL AUTHORITY TO ERDOGAN
Justice and Development Party (AK Party) deputy leader Abdullah Gul said AK Party leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan was given full authority by the Central Executive Board members to determine the Prime Minister.
Gul held a news conference following the Central Decision and Executive Board (MKYK) meeting. Gul said they evaluated results of elections, and that deputy leader Vecdi Gonul, responsible for elections, gave them a detailed information in this respect.
Abdullah Gul said Erdogan gave information about the developments that occured last week, the European Union (EU), and his meeting with President Ahmet Necdet Sezer.

PLANE CRASHES IN ANTALYA, NOBODY DIES
Russian cargo plane, having 19 passengers and 9 crew members, crashed near Antalya Airport. Nobody died in the plane, which crashed because of bad weather conditions around 19.45 local time. A total of 8 people were even not injured.
