ANKARA - Treasury will auction 84-day reference bonds on Tuesday.
The bonds will be issued on November 13, 2002 and repaid on February 5, 2003. The Treasury foresees a net sale of 1 quadrillion 346 trillion Turkish liras (TL) in the auction.
The Treasury held two auctions to sell 133-day and 238-day bonds on November 5.
In the 133-day auction, the total bid had been 2 quadrillion 775.3 trillion TL while the Treasury sold 2 quadrillion 552.8 trillion TL nominal-valued bonds. The net sale became 2 quadrillion 180.2 trillion TL. The composite interest rate was 54.00 percent while the simple interest became 46.77 percent.
In the 238-day auction, the total bid had been 3 quadrillion 116.9 trillion TL while the Treasury sold 1 quadrillion 492.5 trillion TL of nominal-valued bonds. The net sale was 1 quadrillion 113.6 trillion TL. The composite interest rate became 56.50 percent and the simple interest was 52.03 percent.
Meanwhile, the Treasury will repay 2 quadrillion 900.6 trillion TL in domestic debt next week.
The total domestic debt repayment of the Treasury in September is 9 quadrillion 482 trillion TL.
