Passenger Plane Crashes Into Ground In Antalya, Injuring 20

ANTALYA - A passenger plane crashed into ground in southern Antalya province, injuring 20 in Antalya.
Antalya Governor Ertugrul Dokuzoglu said that there were 19 passengers and 9 crew members aboard the plane which was en route to Ukraine while all of them were rescued.
Dokuzoglu noted that the Russian plane belonging to Tymen Airlines which took off from Egypt started to lose altitude 300-400 metres above the running track when it wanted to land Antalya Airport and crashed into ground.
The injured passengers and crew members were hospitalized and taken under medical treatment, Dokuzoglu stated.
Dokuzoglu pointed out that the plane was landing at Antalya Airport for fuel supply.
Pilot of the plane Iauri Sokolov said that weather conditions were bad when they started to land at the airport and he lost control of the plane due to heavy wind.
Victor Dubinsky, Anatoliy Tenekov (second pilot), Alexandr Golosenkov, Alexandr Dubov, Andrey Guryev, Sergey Pripodchev, Sergey Kuydinov, Andrey Smikov, Vladimir Shirokov, Alexandr Gerasimov, Vasili Koudrine, Ivan Oussatchev, Vladimir Chamrav, Iauri Kolodine, Iauri Sokolov (pilot), Vladimir Vovy, Oleg Borskov, Sergei Lobov, Serguei Donratchev were those injured in the crash and hospitalized in Antalya.
Meanwhile, eight people who were not injured in the crash are waiting at the Passport Department of Antalya Airport.
Parts of the Antonov 26 type plane, which was carrying workers of a Russian company, were spread around while officials called on people not to smoke and lit fire since the fuel of the plane leaked out.
