Stock Exchange Climbs Over 14,000 Points

ISTANBUL - Istanbul Stock Exchange (IMKB) National-100 index climbed over 14,000 points in the first session on Friday.
The index which closed at 13,472.17 points, was opened at 13,575.21 this morning and then climbed to 14,408.05 points in the first 40 minutes of the session.
Thus, the index recorded an increase of 41.02 percent when compared with last Friday.
Transaction volume is currently around 641 trillion Turkish liras (TL).
The highest level recorded in session close this year was 14,999.51 points on January 7.
