Yucelen Resigns From His Post As Anap Secretary General

ANKARA - Rustu Kazim Yucelen resigned from his post as Motherland Party (ANAP) secretary general on Tuesday.
Yesterday, ANAP leader Mesut Yilmaz held a press conference to announce his decision to withdraw from ANAP leadership and active politics.
Upon Yilmaz's statement, Yucelen told reporters that he gave up politics.
Yucelen who served as interior and state minister during the period of the 57th government, released a written statement and said that he resigned from his post as secretary general of ANAP.
