Ciller Will Not Run Candidacy In Her Party's Congress

ANKARA - True Path Party (DYP) leader Tansu Ciller announced on Monday that she would not run her candidacy in the party congress.
Ciller issued a statement in which she said that she would hold the congress of her party but would not run her candidacy for leadership.
Hoping that election results would be beneficial for the country, Ciller said, ''I would like to announce that I will call the congress of our party for a meeting but will not run my candidacy for leadership under my authority given by the party by-laws.''
