ANKARA - Citizens started to cast their votes as of 06.00 a.m. in eastern provinces and as of 07.00 a.m. in western provinces on Sunday.
The electors will cast their votes in 85 provinces and in 172,193 ballot boxes.
Here are the eastern provinces which the voters will cast their votes between 06.00-15.00:
Adiyaman, Agri, Artvin, Bingol, Bitlis, Diyarbakir, Elazýg, Erzincan, Erzurum, Gaziantep, Giresun, Gumushane, Hakkari, Kars, Malatya, Kahramanmaras, Mardin, Mus, Ordu, Rize, Siirt, Sivas, Trabzon, Tunceli, Sanlýurfa, Van, Bayburt, Batman, Sýrnak, Ardahan, Igdýr and Kilis.
Here are the western provinces which the voters will cast their votes between 07.00-16.00:
Adana, Afyon, Amasya, Ankara, Antalya, Aydýn, Balýkesir, Bilecik, Bolu, Burdur, Bursa, Canakkale, Cankiri, Corum, Denizli, Edirne, Eskisehir, Hatay, Isparta, Icel, Istanbul, Izmir, Kastamonu, Kayseri, Kirklareli, Kirsehir, Kocaeli, Konya, Kutahya, Manisa, Mugla, Nevsehir, Nigde, Sakarya, Samsun, Sinop, Tekirdag, Tokat, Usak, Yozgat, Zonguldak, Aksaray, Karaman, Kýrýkkale, Bartýn, Yalova, Karabuk, Osmaniye, and Duzce.
Citizens who don't cast their votes without any excuses will pay a fine of 5 million Turkish Liras.
A total of 18 political parties take part in the elections. More than 10,000 deputy candidates will compete in the elections. Here is the list of political parties which will compete in the elections:

Meanwhile the broadcast ban related to election and election results which started at 18.00 p.m. on Saturday, still continues. Today between 18.00 and 21.00, the news that will be given only by the Supreme Board of Elections (YSK) will be broadcast. All the broadcasts after 21.00 local time will be free.
The sale of alcoholic drinks is forbidden today.
