GROUP OF FANATICS
A group Greek fanatics opened a flag showing Cyprus as a Greek island during the match played between Fenerbahce and Panathinaikos in Istanbul last Thursday. A group of Turkish fanatics on the other hand, opened a banner written ''Istanbul Since 1453'' on it. Greek fanatics even threw plastic chairs to their own ministers who were watching the match. Yet the majority of the people in the stands didn't approve the behaviour of the fanatics and they applauded the friendship.

HE CAME WITH RUSSIAN PASSPORT
Arslangereyev, who came to agenda as the person called by Chechen terrorists who raided a theatre in Moscow, entered Turkey with a Russian passport. Security Director Feyzullah Aslan said that everybody who is not wanted abroad, can enter Turkey with a passport.

AK PARTY IN THREE PIECES
There is a big rivalry between Abdullah Gul and Bulent Arýnc to become the prime minister if AK Party comes to power after the elections. AK Party leader Erdogan in his part is looking for a person who is ready to leave the post when the bans on Erdogan ends.

BIG PANIC IN AIR
The Turkish Airlines (THY) plane which was carrying Genclerbirligi football team to eastern Elazýg province returned back to Ankara due to a warning saying that there was a bomb in the plane. A person called police saying that Chechens put a bomb in the plane, which was en route from Ankara to Elazýg. The plane returned back, but there was no bomb in the plane.

GREEK PAO FASCISTS
Panathinaikos (PAO) fanatics who hate politicians and who object the holding of 2008 European Football Championship with Turkey, had earlier planned to provoke the national ideas of Fenerbahce fans. Greek Foreign Minister George Papandreou who was the victim of Greek agression in the staudium said that ''the incidents are not that important to affect the friendship between the two countries and the attacks were far from giving a political message.'' Greek Foreign Ministry Spokesman Panos Beglitis said that the PAO fanatics had a very provocative attitude. The PAO fans gave a damage of 15,000 U.S. dollars in the stadium.

WORLD MONITORS ELECTIONS IN TURKEY
The eyes of the world's media are on the elections that will be held in Turkey tomorrow. The articles in world's newspapers mainly focused on AK Party and its leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan. AK Party is described by foreign newspapers as ''a party which does not have mollas and which is supporter of NATO, EU and secularism.''

AKP CASE TO BE TAKEN UP AFTER ELECTIONS
Constitutional Court did its first preliminary examination in the closure case of the AK Party yesterday. The Court decided to discuss the request of preventing the leadership authorities of AK Party leader Recep Tayip Erdogan after taking the defense of the party. The Court gave 15 days to the party to prepare its preliminary defense.

BAYKAL SAYS ERDOGAN TO USE PRIME MINISTER AS PUPPET
Republican People's Party (CHP) leader Deniz Baykal said that Justice and Development Party (AK Party) leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan would choose a prime minister candidate and he would use him as a puppet. Baykal who addressed people in a public meeting in Uskudar district of Istanbul criticized Erdogan and said that Erdogan caused tension in Turkey.

GREEK PRESS PRAISES TURKEY
Greek press praised the Turkish hospitality in spite of the incidents that happened during the match between Fenerbahce and Panathinaikos in Istanbul. Greek Government Spokesman Hristos Protopapas said that the incidents which took place in the match should not affect the positive atmosphere between Turkey and Greece.

FINAL MESSAGES FROM LEADERS
Political party leaders addressed lastly the people in the public meetings in several cities and wanted people to cast their votes for a 'single political power'. Justice and Development Party (AK Party) leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan who addressed people in Canakkale, Bursa and Yalova and who criticized those saying, ''don't vote for AK Party'', said that even if he could not be prime minister today, he would be prime minister tomorrow.

ABOUT 42 THOUSAND VOTERS TO GO TO BALLOT BOXES
A total of 41 million 414 thousand 793 voters will cast their votes on November 3 for the 22nd Period General Elections. Voting will take place between 06.00-15.00 local time in southern provinces and between 07.00-16.00 local time in western provinces. Higher Board of Election spent approximately 60 trillion lira for the early elections which will take place on Sunday. There will be covered places to cast votes aiming to provide the electors to cast their votes freely.

TURKISH PEOPLE TO MAKE MOST 'DIFFICULT' CHOICE
Turkey is getting prepared for one of the most difficult elections of its history. According to the surveys, only two political parties can pass the threshold at the elections which will be held on Sunday. If the results which will come out from the ballot boxes confirm the surveys, there could be debate of legitimacy in the eyes of the public opinion. Foreign press is showing great interest in the elections. A total of 260 representatives of the foreign press are expected to cover the elections.
