Sezen Aksu Gives Concert In Brussels

BRUSSELS - Famous singer Sezen Aksu gave a concert in Brussels, Belgium on Monday evening.
The concert which was held by ''European Movement 2002'' which brings together the nongovernmental organizations exerting efforts for Turkey's European Union (EU) membership watched by 2,000 people including mostly foreigners at Brussels Fine Art Hall (Palais de Beaux Arts).
Izmir Opera and Ballet Orchestra, Oniro Greek Music Group, Los Pasaros Sefaradis Jewish Music Group, Enderun Classical Turkish Music Group, Ferikoy Vartanants Armenian Chorus, Diyarbakir Municipality Children Chorus accompanied Sezen Aksu at the concert entitled, ''The Songs of Turkey''.
Deputy Prime Minister and State Minister Mesut Yilmaz who also watched the concert delivered a brief speech, stating that the guests would see Turkey's being a colorful and different country by watching the concert.
Aksu said that Turkey was an interesting country composed of affluent cultures.
Some members of the European Parliament, the officials of EU Commission and foreign reporters also watched the concert.
