ISTANBUL - Prime Minister and Democratic Left Party (DSP) leader Bulent Ecevit said on Sunday, ''I have taken my decision. I can hand over DSP leadership to my friends without any hesitation. Now, I do not have any concerns and doubts.''
Speaking at a rally in Kartal district of Istanbul, Prime Minister Ecevit noted, ''the DSP was exposed to some tricks which have not seen in political history of Turkey so far. They took advantage of my illness, and tried to destroy the DSP. However, their tricks have affected only half of the DSP. The DSP will prove its real power in the general elections on November 3 on the contrary of the made-up public surveys.''
''I have taken my decision. I can hand over DSP leadership to my friends without any hesitation. Now, I do not have any concerns and doubts,'' he stressed.
